ولد عام 1967/ متخصص في الفنون الإسلامية، فن الخط العربي، والمخطوطات المصحفية/ باحث وأكاديمي، خطاط، مصمم، ومدرب معتمد لفن الخط العربي/ رئيس قسم الفنون الإسلامية/جامعة العلوم الإسلامية العالمية، الأردن/ عضو مؤسس، معهد الفنون الإسلامية التقليدية، جامعة البلقاء التطبيقية، السلط، الأردن، 1998/ نال درجة الدكتوراة من كلية الأمير تشارلز للفنون، لندن، 2007/ أول أردني ينال الإجازة التقليدية في فن الخط العربي من الأستاذ حسن جلبي، 2003/ فائز بجائزة الإبداع الفني عن جهوده الأكاديمية والفنية في إحياء الخط المحقق من مؤسسة الفكر العربي، بيروت، 2018/ صمم كتابات وزخارف منبر صلاح الدين الأيوبي، القدس، 1996-2000/ أقام معرض “إجازة الخطاط”، المتحف البريطاني، لندن، 2005/ له العديد من المجسمات الميدانية التي صممها باستخدام الحرف العربي، عمّان/ أستاذ زائر في كلية الأمير تشارلز للفنون/ له العديد من الكتب والأبحاث المنشورة بالعربية والإنجليزية/ أعماله في المجموعات الدائمة لدى: المتحف البريطاني، لندن؛ متحف فن الخط العالمي، موسكو؛ متحف الأغا خان، تورنتو، متحف الفن الاسلامي، ماليزيا، المتحف الوطني الأردني.
